One-time Donation

With ICK we have been steadily building a platform for contemporary dance in the Netherlands since 2009. Our ambition is to make a substantial and developing contribution to the future of dance. We do this with dance performances worldwide, with the guidance of young talented choreographers, with the development of projects on a European level and with artistic and academic research and education programmes together with universities and primary education. The City of Amsterdam has appointed us the City Contemporary Dance Company, which has also given us a unifying function for the local dance sector. Beginning in 2017, Theater de Meervaart became our permanent home base from which we will shape our activities.

Annual Contribution

We are also feeling the pressure of the changed cultural policy and cutbacks in the sector. We, too, are looking for new sources of funding. The new Giving Act offers very attractive tax opportunities for donors, which is why we are turning to you now. For the next four years we will be working from the theme 'The Body in Revolt'. We will elaborate on this theme in five years in a series of high-profile dance performances.

If you decide to support us financially with a donation for five years, you may deduct 125% from your taxable income annually. (If you donate € 1,000 per year, you pay €381,20 net per year in the event of a maximum tax deduction). 

The Giving Act also offers advantages for companies that want to donate, we will be happy to inform you about this. However, if you would rather opt for sponsorship (up to € 25,000 per year), we will be happy to discuss with you the desired compensations.
