THE WAY WE MOVE

6 dancers | 6 portraits | 6 interviews

You probably have seen them moving on stage. Perhaps you already have an idea who they are, but there's more than the eye can see. Dancers Beatrice, Denis, Edward, Hiroki, Maria, and Victor together make up the ensemble of ICK. On stage they often form one body. But of course they are unique individuals at the same time. Wouldn’t you like to get to know them better?

Each month ICK features one dancer, starting with a beautiful video portrait and ending with a one time online interview with the audience. In our social media and during the interview, the dancer of the month shares her or his philosophy, career path, anecdotes, and vision on ICK’s themes.

What interests you most to talk about plays a big part in what the dancer shares with you personally. Therefore, you can ask her or him questions on our social media here. You'd like to book the interview directly? Check the event date on the dancer's announcement below.

Meet Edward

Edward Lloyd is a true chameleon, but not because of his movement. Edward believes it is necessary to be able to adapt to different artistic environments: 'When encountering a maker I haven't worked with before, I try to understand the essence of their work and find a way of positioning myself in relation to both the maker and the artistic process.’

Curious? Meet Edward personally during a live interview on Tuesday, May 25 at 7:00 pm. This exclusive event is your chance to learn more about his career, views and inspirations. It will also be the time to go into depth and share reflections.
