Mor Shani

Mor Shani (Israel, 1985) started his professional career as a dancer in Bat Dor dance company in Tel Aviv. After graduating In 2009 from the choreography department of ArtEZ in Arnhem he has been making his own creations in different productions houses. His work is characterized by delicate shifts of meanings generated by the body.

During his residence at ICK and Dansateliers, he started in 2013 the immersive project Love-ism together with filmmaker Paul Sixta: a long-term study inspired by the book “Art of Loving” by Erich Fromm. The material, encounters and interviews resulted in an evening length performance, a series of duets and the film Love-ism | Things That Matter.
