'The Waking body'

A new series of We Dance Together will begin on December 4th, 2023 at Space for Dance Art!

Under the guidance of several high-profile dance makers, you can join this dance workshop for eight weeks for dance lovers, young and old, with or without dance experience. Due to success, this time the course will once again be taught by choreographer and dancer Rosanna ter Steege.

Rosanna ter Steege (1986) is half Moluccan, half Dutch. Growing up within two cultures has given her roots. She studied Danstheater Uitvoerend at the Fontys Hogeschool voor de Kunsten and has since worked as a freelance dancer and maker in the world of the arts.

During We Dance Together #4 you will be introduced to Rosanna's methods and practices. The class series will end with a small presentation or open class for friends, family, and interested parties. This time the focus of the class series will be on 'The Waking Body' and its translation into movement. Rosanna will work with participants to explore this theme through various movement exercises and techniques.

We Dance Together #4 is suitable for all dance enthusiasts ages 15 years and up (no upper limit!). 

Dates: Monday, December 4th 2023 until Monday, February 12th 2024

There will be no class Monday, December 25th 2023, Monday, January 1st 2024 and Monday, January 15th 2024!
