Vmbo denktank

Together with cultural partners, Bekijk't, Foam, Ons' Lieve Heer op Solder and Poldertheater, ICK Amsterdam forms the Vmbo think-tank. Together, we investigate how we can work together to improve the cultural education on offer for the Amsterdam vmbo schools. Our goal is a multidisciplinary, joint offer that we develop in co-creation with the partners.

In the period 2015 – 2017, we developed the Contemporary dance apprenticeship line for vmbo with the Meervaart and Wellant College in Sloten. 

In 2021 we started an interdisciplinary pilot project at Montessori Lyceum Oostpoort, Mundus College, ABC Noorderlicht and Yuverta Sloten (formerly Wellant College). In this project, students from the first or second class vmbo get acquainted with the various art disciplines based on the theme "This is me". The students conclude this project on December 13 with performances and presentations in the OBA.
