Map to the stars
A mobile dance app for children and teachers
Together with France (Ballet National de Marseille), Spain (Mercat de les Flors) and Italy (Museo dei Bambini), the ICK Academy worked on a digital learning tool to promote children's creativity and increase fun through the use of technology. Under the artistic direction of choreographer Eric Minh Cuong Castaing (Cie Shonen), in collaboration with developer Manuvo, dance company Silk Fluegge and teams of dancers and teachers from the participating countries, an app was created that encourages children to create their own dances.
The project came about thanks to a grant from the European Commission's framework programme Creative Europe.
